
Meet Jeff Cornilles
Jeff is a conservative, Christian, businessman from Nampa. He comes from hard-working railroaders and farmers who cleared land in south Nampa in the early 1900’s. He attended Nampa public schools and the University of Idaho. He then returned to Nampa to work alongside his father at Cornilles Financial Services where he has continued to work, own and manage for the past 25 years. Jeff has a strong work ethic and is a proven leader.
Jeff and his wife Keriann both raised their kids in Nampa. He's been involved in coaching their teams and supportive of their schools, he even served on the charter school board. Jeff was raised to enjoy and appreciate the outdoors. At a young age, he started bird hunting with his dad. In the Fall Jeff has an annual Elk hunting trip, in the Winter he is skiing at Brundage with his family, and in the Summer he is busy camping, fishing, and kayaking.
Jeff and Keriann have been big supporters of this community. They support the Nampa Boys and Girls Club, Breaking Chains Academy of Development Inc. and their local Salvation Army. Jeff is a member of the Rotary Club and has been a member of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce for many years. He currently serves as a commissioner of the Nampa Development Corporation. Jeff believes it is a privilege to run as your state representative, giving back to the community and state that he is proud to call home.
Voting for Jeff is a vote for your voice to be heard at our state Capitol. Jeff wants to keep Idaho moving in the right direction with an emphasis on our conservative values, supporting our constitutional rights, and freedoms.
He looks forward to representing Nampa in District 12 for a second term.
2025 Legislative Highlights
Property Tax Relief - HB 304
Supported Idaho's largest property tax relief package $100 Million directed to reduce property taxes on homeowner and lower the need for school levies. Keeping property taxes low remains a top priority.
Income Tax Cuts - HB 40
Voted for broad income tax relief, cutting Idaho's flat tax relief, cutting Idaho's flat income tax rate from 5.695% to 5.3%, eliminating capital gains taxes on precious metals, and expanding military pension exemptions- a $253 million tax cut for Idaho families and businesses.
Grocery Tax Credit Increase - HB 231
Increased Idaho's grocery tax credit from $120 to $155 per person, providing real relief at the grocery store checkout line. Also allows higher refunds for families who submit receipts.
Protecting Idaho Classrooms - HB 41
Voted to ban political, ideological, and activists flags in Idaho classrooms- ensuring that Idaho schools remain focused on education, not political agendas.
Protection Children Online - The "Take It Down Act"
Helped pass legislation to protect Idaho's youth from AI- Generated and altered images being used on social media - one of the strongest online child protection laws in the country.
